Child United has acquired land in rural Philippines for the site of a future learning center.

The future building will enable children in rural areas to thrive in a center for education. It will be housed with books, technology (with abilities for internet communication) and toys/games. Many children don’t have a place to study so this ‘new’ building will provide them with basic needs to succeed in education.

So far, the organization has helped CNN’s 2009 Hero of the Year with building a learning center in Cavite City, Cavite in the Philippines. The building and its volunteers provide a place for learning and a center for kids to eat.
