“Claudine’s mother came to me in Sept 2008 when I was delivering items to the school. In tears, she begged for someone to help her daughter. She was struggling with two jobs and trying to keep her family afloat while her husband laid in bed rest after suffering from a stroke. Claudine was the valedictorian of her class and I’ll never forget her tears the last time I visited her. She wants so much to be educated so she can help her mom and family.”
